Common Questions
Before You Commit
What exactly is a "custom safety policy"?
A written, OSHA-aligned policy document built specifically for your business — your industry, your hazards, your language. Not a generic template with your name pasted in. Examples include a Hazard Communication Program, Lockout/Tagout Policy, Fall Protection Plan, or Respiratory Protection Program.
What is a toolbox talk?
A short, focused safety topic your supervisor can run in 10–15 minutes before a shift — written for your crew, in plain language, on a hazard relevant to your work right now. Delivered as a ready-to-use document each month.
What does OSHA 300 log management include?
We track, maintain, and file your OSHA injury and illness records — the 300 Log, 300A Annual Summary, and 301 Incident Reports — so you're always compliant and ready if OSHA comes knocking.
How does the "step down" process work?
As your safety program matures, we'll have an honest conversation about whether you still need the same level of support. If your culture is strong and your team is running safety confidently, we'll recommend moving to a lower tier — and we mean it. A Safety Management client who steps down to Safety Essentials after 18 months is a success story, not a lost account.
What happens if we have an incident on the Safety Essentials plan?
Add-on consulting is available on every plan at a discount off our standard rate. On Safety Partner and above, incident investigation support is included in your subscription.
Is there a setup fee?
No setup fees on any plan. Done-for-you app configuration is included from day one — we load your SDS library, emergency contacts, and document portal as part of onboarding.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Absolutely. If your business grows or you take on new work with higher hazard exposure, upgrading is simple. Upgrades take effect immediately; we'll prorate the difference.
